Souljourning for Truth, Aventist Tour in Battle Creek

The Adventist Church was founded in Battle Creek and there is a Black History connection. The site has replicas of the original buildings. One of the homes was owned by a Black family.

Battle Creek is a walkable town,  especially near Truth's Monument, and the Adventist museum. There was also a Battle Creek museum.

One of Sojourner Truth grandsons who lives in Battle Creek curated an exhibit. 

It was very nice. There was a film, clippings from newsarticles about the Sojourner Truth Day, community programs and the commission of the Monument.
